This Privacy Policy explains how SellAI - Smart Selling ("SellAI", "we", "our", or "us") processes information when you use the SellAI mobile application.
SellAI processes information that users voluntarily provide when using features of the app.
When you choose to generate ecommerce content from a product image, the image you explicitly select is transmitted for processing. A selected image may contain personal information if such information is visible in the image.
SellAI does not automatically upload your photo library. Only the image you explicitly select for the requested feature is processed.
When you use features such as Listing Analyzer or Marketing Kit, SellAI processes the product, listing, or other ecommerce text that you voluntarily enter into the app.
This text is processed only when you request the applicable AI-powered feature.
When you use Product Research, SellAI processes the search keyword or product term you enter, together with the selected marketplace or country, in order to retrieve relevant marketplace research results.
SellAI also processes settings you select in the app, such as target country, language, and selling platform. These selections are used to customize results and generated content.
Information submitted through SellAI is used to provide the functionality requested by the user, including:
SellAI does not use submitted product images, product text, or listing text for cross-app or cross-website tracking.
SellAI uses OpenAI as a third-party artificial intelligence service provider for AI-powered features.
Depending on the feature you request, information transmitted for AI processing may include a product image you selected, product or listing text you entered, and relevant settings such as country, language, and selling platform.
This information is transmitted to SellAI's backend service and may be transmitted to OpenAI when necessary to perform the AI-powered feature requested by you.
SellAI also uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate certain features.
Vercel is used to host SellAI's backend infrastructure and process requests necessary to provide app functionality.
DataForSEO is used to provide marketplace product research functionality. When you use Product Research, information such as your search keyword or product term and selected marketplace or country may be processed through SellAI's backend and DataForSEO to retrieve relevant marketplace research results.
SellAI does not sell your personal information.
Before information is transmitted to OpenAI for AI processing, SellAI displays a disclosure explaining the relevant data sharing.
For image-based AI features, this may include the selected product image and relevant settings.
For text-based AI features such as Listing Analyzer and Marketing Kit, this may include product or listing text entered by the user and relevant settings.
The user must affirmatively choose to continue before the applicable information is transmitted to OpenAI for AI processing.
If the user does not consent, the applicable information is not submitted to OpenAI and the requested AI operation is cancelled.
SellAI's Product Research feature allows users to enter a product keyword or search term and select a supported marketplace.
The search term and selected marketplace or country are transmitted to SellAI's backend and may be processed by DataForSEO to retrieve marketplace product information.
Product Research results may include marketplace information such as product titles, images, prices, ratings, review counts, ranking information, purchase activity signals, marketplace badges, and other available product information.
SellAI may calculate or display opportunity indicators based on available marketplace research data. These indicators are informational estimates and should not be considered guarantees of sales, profitability, demand, or future performance.
SellAI requests access to the device's photo library only when the user chooses to select a product image.
SellAI does not automatically scan or upload the user's entire photo library. Only the image selected by the user for the requested feature is processed.
The current version of SellAI does not require users to create an account or sign in.
SellAI does not intentionally associate submitted product images, listing text, or marketing text with a SellAI user account because no SellAI user account is required for the current version.
SellAI does not use submitted product images or user-submitted ecommerce text for cross-app or cross-website tracking.
Submitted information is transmitted for the purpose of completing the feature requested by the user.
SellAI aims to retain submitted information only for as long as necessary to process the requested feature, operate and secure the service, troubleshoot technical issues, prevent abuse, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
Third-party service providers may process or retain information according to their own applicable privacy and data retention practices.
Users should only submit images, product information, listings, and other content that they have the right to use.
Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive or personal information through product images, listings, marketing text, or other app inputs.
AI-generated ecommerce content and marketplace research indicators may contain inaccuracies or incomplete information. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying product details, claims, descriptions, prices, marketplace information, recommendations, and other generated or displayed content before publishing it or making business decisions.
SellAI is not specifically directed to children. The current version of SellAI does not require account registration.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for account creation or behavioral advertising.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through SellAI.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
